In the late 1990s, an Israeli company called M-Systems, led by engineer Dov Moran, revolutionized the way we store and transfer data.

Before cloud storage and portable drives, we had the ugly floppy disk. They were slow, fragile, and tiny in capacity. And you couldn't put it in your pocket without warping it!

Dov and his team invented a solid-state, plug-and-play storage device: the USB flash drive we know and love. They called it DiskOnKey. Quickly, this became the standard way to store data on physical removable media all over the world.
